Now it was limited so far. On 10/01/09 at 11:00 o'clock the shaving course took place in the house "Jebe". Altogether we were six participants plus the course instructor Mr. Eisenhardt.

After we introduced ourselves, first Mr. Eisenhardt explained us the construction of a razor and their use. He told us why exactly the preparation and the aftercare are markedly important for a shave.

Very briefly:

preparation = for a perfect shave

resultaftercare = for a revitalisation of the skin

The question “Why should it necessarily be a badger hair brush?” was answered by Mr. Eisenhardt as follows: The badger hair is slightly hydrophobic and therefore it can connect better the soap with the air and it can establish a good foam. You always should let the badger hair brush dry overhead so that the badger hairs don’t take damage.

In our round it was asked who would like to get shaved. After two volunteers were found everybody might shave once under the look of Mr. Eisenhardt and gain thus his personal experience.
